Janet Attwood is a regulator-informed governance adviser, Board Chair, non-executive director, facilitator, speaker and author.

She works with boards and leadership teams navigating complexity, scrutiny and change, with a particular focus on the governance of safety, health and wellbeing and the governance of regulatory decision-making.

Drawing on nearly two decades inside frontline regulation and current board leadership roles, Janet brings a grounded understanding of how decisions are made inside the boardroom, and how they may later be tested by regulators, stakeholders and events.

Her work sits at the intersection of governance, risk, regulation and organisational behaviour. She helps boards strengthen oversight, ask better questions and create the conditions for good judgement before pressure becomes crisis.
