Janet Attwood
Principal Consultant
Janet Attwood is an experienced Chair, non-executive director and governance advisor who works with organisations facing complexity, scrutiny and change. Drawing on two decades inside frontline regulation and current board leadership roles, she brings a grounded understanding of how decisions are made in the boardroom, and how they are later interpreted beyond it.
Her work is shaped by extensive regulatory experience, offering boards practical insight into oversight, accountability and risk in environments with sustained risk and complexity.
Janet is also the author of Purpose Under Pressure: Essential governance conversations for modern charities and not-for-profits, a practical, conversation-led book for charity and not-for-profit boards facing rising expectations and faster-moving issues.
